Course Objectives
By completing this course you will be able to perform the following tasks:

  • Create a new folder to organise your work.

  • In Windows, locate and open MS Word application.

  • Create a new Word document.

  • Use Preformatted Document Templates

  • Add graphics to a document

  • Enter text into a new document.

  • Use the Spelling and Grammar Checker

  • Open an existing document, Edit and format accordingly.

  • Copy, Cut and Paste work between Office documents

  • Understand and competently work with dialog boxes.

  • Save work into a designated folder on your computer.

  • Print and close down your documents.

  • Examine your documents in different views.

  • Work with Margins, Pages and Line Spacing.

  • Work with Tables and Tabs to structure your page

  • Work with Borders
